Reality television star and businesswoman Kim Kardashian has
marked the lead-up to her 46th birthday with a private getaway in the
Philippines, sharing glimpses of her island adventure with millions of
followers on social media.
Kardashian posted photos and videos on Instagram documenting
her visit to a private island, where she went scuba diving, watched the sunset
over the sea and enjoyed a fireworks display. Her birthday festivities also
included a cake celebration, while footage of sea turtles swimming offered a
glimpse of the surrounding marine environment.
The trip comes ahead of Kardashian's birthday on October 21.
Her Instagram post prompted reactions from family members, including sister
Kourtney Kardashian and mother Kris Jenner, as well as Filipino celebrities
Anne Curtis and Ruffa Gutierrez.
Her Philippine getaway also comes amid renewed public
interest in her personal life following the public confirmation of her
relationship with Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton.
Beyond her personal milestones, Kardashian is preparing for
the second season of All's Fair, the television series featuring an
ensemble cast that includes Naomi Watts, Niecy Nash-Betts, Teyana Taylor, Sarah
Paulson and Glenn Close.
