Grammy-winning worship artist Chris Tomlin is set to return
to the Philippines in April 2027, bringing his internationally recognized
worship music to Manila and Cebu. The upcoming shows will mark his first
Philippine concerts in more than 15 years and his debut performance in the
Visayas.
Organized by Niche Music, the concert series will open at SM
Seaside Cebu Arena on April 22, 2027, before heading to SM Mall of Asia Arena
in Manila on April 24, 2027.
Tickets will be available starting November 7, 2026, at 12
noon through SM Tickets. Fans can also register ahead of the sale through
Ticketmaster.
Tomlin has built a lasting reputation in contemporary
Christian music, with a catalog of worship anthems that have reached
congregations across the globe. His popular songs include How Great Is Our God,
Our God, Amazing Grace (My Chains Are Gone), Indescribable, Jesus Messiah, Good
Good Father and Holy Forever.
For more than two decades, his compositions have become
familiar parts of church services and worship gatherings worldwide,
establishing him as one of the leading voices in modern Christian worship.
Beyond his return to the Philippine stage, the 2027 concerts
reflect Niche Music's continuing push to bring internationally recognized
worship performers closer to Filipino audiences. The promoter previously staged
Bethel Music concerts in March 2026.
Mike Aguilar, president and CEO of Niche Music, described
the opportunity to bring Tomlin back as a privilege, particularly with Cebu
hosting the artist's first-ever Visayas performance.
Aguilar said the promoter hopes the events will go beyond
live entertainment, creating opportunities for Filipinos to gather in faith and
worship together.
With Cebu and Manila on the concert itinerary, Filipino fans will have two opportunities to experience one of contemporary Christian music's most influential worship leaders live in 2027.
