DoubleDragon Expands Hotel101 to Thailand With 770-Room Bangkok Project Set for 2029 Completion

DoubleDragon Strengthens Southeast Asia Expansion With New Hotel101 Development in Bangkok

DoubleDragon Corp. is accelerating the international growth of its Hotel101 brand after securing a partnership that will establish its first property in Thailand, further expanding the company's footprint across Asia.

Through its subsidiary, Hotel101 Global Holdings Corp., DoubleDragon signed definitive binding agreements with Thai real estate developer Origin Property Public Co. Ltd. to build a 770-room Hotel101 in Bangkok. The project reinforces the company's long-term objective of creating a globally standardized hotel network that delivers a consistent guest experience regardless of location.

The upcoming Hotel101-Bangkok will rise on an 8,336-square-meter property along Phahon Yothin Road. The site is strategically positioned near Don Mueang International Airport and adjacent to the Yaek Kor Por Aor BTS Station, giving travelers direct access to one of Bangkok's rapidly expanding urban districts.

The location was selected to capitalize on Bangkok's northern growth corridor, an area experiencing sustained investment in transportation, commercial centers, residential communities, and tourism infrastructure. Like a transportation hub that naturally attracts business and leisure activity, the development is expected to benefit from strong connectivity and increasing visitor demand.

Construction is targeted for completion by 2029. Once all units are sold, the development is projected to generate approximately $58 million in sales revenue.

The Bangkok property forms part of Hotel101 Global's broader international expansion strategy, which aims to establish one million standardized hotel rooms across 100 countries. By maintaining a uniform hotel concept, the company seeks to simplify operations while offering guests familiar accommodations and service standards in multiple markets.

Hotel101-Bangkok will feature four-star facilities while maintaining competitive pricing. Planned amenities include spacious function rooms and a conference center designed to accommodate corporate meetings, conventions, and other business events alongside leisure travelers.

DoubleDragon's overseas expansion is already producing operational results. The company confirmed that its 680-room Hotel101-Madrid in Spain has been generating recurring hotel revenues since beginning operations in March 2026.

The international pipeline continues with Hotel101-Niseko in Hokkaido, Japan, a 482-room development scheduled to open in December and expected to further strengthen the brand's recurring income stream.

Meanwhile, Hotel101 continues to perform strongly in its home market. The 518-room Hotel101-Manila and the 606-room Hotel101-Fort continue to record high occupancy rates. In Mindanao, the 519-room Hotel101-Davao, currently the region's largest hotel, is scheduled to officially begin operations on July 30, adding another major asset to the company's expanding hospitality portfolio.
