RCBC Wealth Named Private Wealth Bank of the Year in the Philippines at 2026 Asian Banking & Finance Awards

Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation’s (RCBC) Wealth Management Group has secured a major industry distinction after being recognized as the Private Wealth Bank of the Year in the Philippines at the 2026 Asian Banking & Finance Awards.

The award, presented by Charlton Media Group, honors leading financial institutions across Asia that demonstrate excellence in banking performance, innovation, and customer service. RCBC Wealth’s recognition highlights its continued progress in delivering personalized financial strategies for high-net-worth individuals and families.

The achievement comes amid a period of significant expansion for RCBC Wealth, reflecting the group’s focus on building long-term client relationships and providing comprehensive solutions designed to preserve and grow wealth.

RCBC Wealth Management Group Head Jacqueline Wieneke said the award validates the organization’s approach to private banking, which centers on strategic advice, relationship-driven service, and a deeper understanding of clients’ financial goals across generations.

The recognition underscores RCBC Wealth’s efforts to move beyond traditional investment management by helping clients develop sustainable wealth strategies. Similar to managing a family legacy, wealth planning requires careful decisions, foresight, and a structured approach that balances present needs with future aspirations.

Over the past year, RCBC Wealth achieved notable business growth, with both its assets under management and core client base increasing by 23 percent. The results reflect stronger confidence from clients in the group’s advisory capabilities and wealth management platform.

The growth was further supported by a substantial rise in key financial segments. Treasury assets expanded by 96.02 percent, while Trust assets increased by 12.72 percent, indicating a growing demand for diversified investment options and more sophisticated wealth solutions amid evolving market conditions.

Wieneke attributed the continued momentum to RCBC’s One-Bank strategy, which enables the Wealth Management Group to collaborate with various units across the organization. This integrated approach allows the bank to better identify opportunities and provide tailored services to affluent clients within the RCBC ecosystem.

The latest accolade reinforces RCBC Wealth’s position in the private banking sector and reflects its commitment to helping clients manage their finances with a broader perspective. Beyond achieving investment returns, the group aims to help families protect their assets, strengthen financial security, and build legacies that can endure for future generations.
