Sandara Park Launches Independent Label Aradnas, Marks New Era With Solo Music and Asia Fan Tour

Korean artist Sandara Park is entering a decisive phase in her career as she transitions from long-standing agency management to full independence through the launch of her own record label, Aradnas, a name derived from her own spelled in reverse.

This move signals a structural shift in how she manages her music career. Instead of operating within the traditional K-pop agency system, Sandara now assumes direct creative and business control, a step often compared to a filmmaker becoming both director and producer of their own work. It allows greater autonomy over artistic direction, release strategy, and long-term brand identity.

Aradnas has positioned this development as the beginning of a new chapter for the artist. Under this framework, Sandara is preparing to release a new single album titled rePRISM on June 20. The project is expected to serve as the launch point for her independent activities and renewed solo branding.

Beyond recorded music, her schedule will expand into live and fan-centered events. Plans include participation in festivals, fan concerts, and a broader Asia-wide fan concert tour. The tour is set to begin on July 4 at YES24 Live Hall in Seoul, with additional locations to be announced later as planning progresses.

The newly established label has also begun actively shaping its public identity through digital platforms, releasing promotional visuals featuring Sandara tied to the rePRISM rollout and the upcoming fan concert series.

Sandara Park’s career path reflects a layered evolution across markets and roles. She first entered the Korean entertainment industry after years of early exposure in the Philippines, where she grew up from the age of 10. Her initial rise came as a runner-up on Star Circle Quest, followed by a period of acting and music activity in the Philippines before returning to South Korea.

She later achieved major recognition as a member of the girl group 2NE1, which debuted under YG Entertainment in 2009 and became one of the defining acts of its generation. After her contract ended in 2021, she joined Abyss Company, where she spent several years before moving toward full independence with her own label.

Her occasional appearances and performances in the Philippines over the years have also maintained her cross-border connection with fans in both countries.

With Aradnas now operational, Sandara Park is effectively repositioning herself from managed artist to architect of her own career system, where each release and event forms part of a self-directed strategy rather than an externally managed timeline.
