The long-awaited return of F4 to the Philippines created
unforgettable memories for thousands of fans, with celebrities Ellen Adarna and
Michelle Gumabao finding themselves among those who experienced rare up-close
interactions with the legendary Taiwanese group.
During the F Forever reunion concert at the Philippine Arena
in Bulacan on June 27, both personalities shared glimpses of their memorable
encounters with Jerry Yan, Vic Chou, and Vaness Wu through their Instagram
accounts. One of the night's most talked-about moments featured the actresses
making the signature heart gesture alongside the three F4 members, a keepsake
that quickly resonated with fellow Meteor Garden fans online.
For Ellen, the evening became even more special after
sharing a hand-holding moment with Jerry Yan, the actor best remembered for
portraying Dao Ming Si, the charismatic leader of the iconic quartet in the hit
Taiwanese drama Meteor Garden. The interaction added a personal highlight to an
already emotional reunion concert.
The performance itself served as a celebration of nostalgia.
Although Ken Chu was absent, Jerry, Vic, and Vaness delivered a setlist packed
with songs that defined the group's rise to international fame in the early
2000s. Most of the performances were presented in Chinese, giving longtime
supporters an authentic concert experience that brought back memories of the
television phenomenon that introduced F4 to audiences across Asia.
Vaness Wu also stepped into the spotlight with individual
performances, including a guitar number that Ellen captured and shared through
her Instagram Stories. Meanwhile, Jerry performed Wo Shi Zhen De Zhen De Hen Ai
Ni, a song closely associated with his career and one that drew enthusiastic
reactions from the crowd.
Adding another nostalgic touch, the trio joined singer Ashin
in performing several songs connected to Meteor Garden, including the beloved
original soundtrack Qing Fei De Yi. Their collaboration reminded fans why the
drama continues to hold a lasting place in Asian pop culture decades after its
debut.
Michelle Gumabao expressed the overwhelming excitement she
felt after the show, admitting on Instagram that she could hardly believe the
experience and apologizing for her screams during the concert. Her reaction
reflected the emotions shared by countless attendees, many of whom had waited
years for the opportunity to see F4 perform live once again.
Jerry Yan, Vic Chou, Vaness Wu, and Ashin are currently bringing the F Forever concert tour to audiences in different locations, allowing another generation of fans to relive the music and memories that made F4 one of Asia's most influential pop culture icons.
