Love, Siargao Full Cast Revealed: Nadine Lustre and Alden Richards Lead New Viu Romance Series

Streaming platform Viu Philippines has officially unveiled the complete ensemble for its upcoming romantic drama Love, Siargao, a 26-episode series that brings together Nadine Lustre and Alden Richards in their first on-screen collaboration.

Produced in partnership with Viva Entertainment, the project is positioned as one of the platform’s major local releases for the year. It also carries added intrigue because Nadine has made Siargao her home base in recent years, giving the series a stronger connection to the island that serves as both backdrop and central theme.

At the heart of the story is the so-called Siargao Curse, a popular belief tied to the island’s magnetic charm. Visitors are said to experience one of two outcomes: they either never want to leave or they unexpectedly fall in love. It is less a curse and more a reflection of how certain places quietly alter people. Like a tide that shifts the shoreline without notice, Siargao is portrayed as a place that changes lives before people realize it.

Nadine takes on the role of Kara, while Alden portrays Jao. Both characters are shaped by different sides of this island legend, creating the emotional foundation of the story. The narrative is expected to explore romance, personal reinvention, and the quiet pull of starting over in a place that feels impossible to abandon.

Among the earliest announced cast members was Korean actor Choi Bo-min, whose inclusion drew attention after his appointment as a tourism ambassador for Korea by the Tourism Promotions Board Philippines.

The newly confirmed supporting cast adds more depth to the production. Joining the series are Kyline Alcantara, Coleen Garcia, AZ Martinez, Vince Maristela, Kakki Teodoro, Adrian Lindayag, Gab Lagman, South Korean actor Ji Soo, and content creator Christopher Diwata.

Martinez and Maristela arrive fresh from their appearance in The Secrets of Hotel 88, while Christopher Diwata enters the project with strong online recognition after gaining viral attention for his impersonations of Taylor Lautner. Love, Siargao marks his first acting role, adding another point of curiosity for viewers.

Earlier, Alden revealed that principal photography in Siargao could stretch beyond a month, reflecting the scale of the production and the importance of capturing the island’s atmosphere authentically rather than using it as a simple scenic backdrop.

With romance, destination storytelling, and a high-profile lead pairing at its center, Love, Siargao is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated Filipino streaming releases set to premiere later this year.
